Hi I'm Sue and I'm a fully qualified and registered professional Holistic Practitioner.

Having always had an interest in health, I was fortunate to take a course in Reflexology which showed me the depths that ‘hands on’ therapy could reach. Qualifying as a Reflexologist in 1994, it soon became very clear what detrimental effects stress could have on the physical body and mind and that the power of emotions could truly affect your body for both good and ill.

I continued to further my knowledge gaining massage qualifications in Aromatherapy, Body Massage, Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage and later, Hopi ear candling and Reiki. Realising the profound effect food can have on our health, I chose to study nutrition and attained a Diploma in Natural Nutrition. This therapy focuses specifically on how our nutritional choices influence our health and ultimately our lifestyle. Not only has this enabled me to pass on invaluable advice to my clients but has also provided an opportunity to offer Nutritional Therapy as a complete therapy.

My approach to health has always been holistic, observing the interactions between mind, body, spirit and emotions and understanding the symbiotic relationship they have with nature. Simply walking in the countryside can have such desirable effects on our health and spirit bringing a greater balance to our lives.

Two years ago I added a further qualification as an Advanced ‘No Hands Massage’ practitioner. A therapy which uses body weight and the soft part of your forearms to apply massage. No Hands Massage is gentle yet truly powerful bringing about amazing results, not only on the physical body but also on the mind and emotions. It is what has become known as the ‘gentle giant of massage’ More recently, I undertook a course in Holistic facials using Neal’s Yard Organic Skincare and then followed this with a Natural Facial lift qualification which uses massage, acupressure and manual lymph drainage. This aids the removal of expression lines, whilst rejuvenating facial cells giving a more youthful appearance.

In addition to my Complementary Therapy practice I also worked for several years in a busy health food store in Staffordshire and am now manageress at Bare Health, my daughters Healthy Living Store in Congleton.

My time spent within the health food industry has allowed me to greatly expand my knowledge of health, on a daily basis, through consultations with customers and clients and by attending seminars and completing courses on the use of nutritional supplements and herbal remedies and how they can be integrated into our daily lives. I now have over 20 years experience within the field of complementary health and must admit that I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to work in such a wonderful industry, never seeing it as just a job but as a pleasure! More recently I have expanded my qualifications and am thrilled to add Emmett Technique, Pregnancy Massage, Facial Reflexology and SKN-RG Facials to my current treatment list.
